Bill Bippus
Bill was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida. He attended
high school in New England and graduated from a small mid-western
college in 1965.
Bill's family purchased farm and timber land in the mid-1950's,
which they planted in pine trees. In 1965 Bill's family bought an
adjoining farm and an antebellum home which is Lyndhurst Plantation.
In 1965 when Bill finished college, he went to work there,
raising cattle, row-cropping, doing land site-prep and planting pine
trees.
Working in real
estate fell right into these endeavors. In 1977 Bill went to work
with George Walker Realty in
Tallahassee.
A year or so later, because Bill was needed back at Lyndhurst, he moved his
license to Century 21, Connell Realty in Monticello, Florida.
Ultimately, Bill put his License with father, William E. Bippus, MD,
also a broker.
Bill is experienced in acreage, farm and timber tracts. He
has worked in Jefferson, Madison, Taylor and Leon Counties. Bill came to work
with TALCOR in 2005.
Bill is a member of the Tallahassee Board of Realtors, The
Kiwanis Club of Monticello, the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce and the
Florida Farm Bureau.
Bill has been a resident of Jefferson County since 1965.
Bill and his family have lived in Monticello since 1991.
