William T. Smith
Bill Smith was born and raised in Tallahassee graduating from Leon High School and Florida State University with a B.S. Degree in Industrial Management. He previously was Vice-President of Flint River Mills, Inc. and managed the retail operation of the F. R. M. Ranch and Garden Centers for 27 years.
He joined Investors Realty Commercial division in 1986 and continued with TALCOR Commercial Real Estate until June of 1997. He took a three year leave of absence to help with the development of the Gadsden 10/90 Commerce Park, Inc. located between Tallahassee and Quincy. After the successful sale of that development he re-joined TALCOR in June of 2000.
Bill has been active in the community serving on the Board of Directors of two local banks, FSU Alumni Association, FSU Seminole Boosters, Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce,
Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, Florida Feed Association and
Associated Charities.
He is currently a member of the Tallahassee and Gadsden Board of Realtors, The Commercial Council of Tallahassee and a contributing member of the National Association of Realtors and the Florida Association of Realtors. He is also a member
and Past President of the Exchange Club and the Committee of 99.
