Frank L. Langston, CCIM
Principal
Frank L. Langston is a native of Tallahassee having graduated from North Florida Christian School in 1975. He attended Auburn University where he received his B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Finance. In his senior year, Mr. Langston was awarded the Wall Street Journal Award for Student Achievement presented annually to the top student majoring in Finance.
Upon graduation, Mr. Langston moved to Tampa, Florida to enter the management training program of First Florida Banks. As one of the youngest Bank officers in Florida's fifth largest bank holding company, he had the opportunity to work with Senior Management in his capacity as the head of Market Research. While assigned to the Marketing Department, Mr. Langston gained valuable first hand real estate experience in locating bank branch locations around the state of Florida. In addition, he participated in strategic planning, new product development and market analysis. In late 1981, Mr. Langston transferred to the Tallahassee office of First Florida Bank serving as Marketing Director with responsibility for Business Development.
Mr. Langston left the banking business in March of 1984 to assist in the development and expansion of Coastal Aviation Services, Inc. As Vice President of Finance, he assisted this family business in growing to become one of the largest regional providers of aero medical services in the country.
Mr. Langston has had first hand experience owning and managing small investment properties since 1986. In May 1989, he went into the commercial real estate business full time specializing in retail and office sales and leasing and bank owned real estate. In the past few years, Mr. Langston has had the opportunity to represent such firms as Barnett Banks, Exxon, Shoney's, Capital City Bank Group, Memorex-Telex, etc.
Mr. Langston is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) which is a designation conferred by the Commercial Real Estate Institute, having completed the required courses, examinations, resume and required experience. In addition, he has recently began work towards the Certified Property Manager (CPM) Certification awarded by the institute of Real Estate Management.
Mr. Langston is licensed as a Florida Broker-Salesman, an Alabama Broker and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Florida Association of Realtors, and the Tallahassee Association of Realtors.
He is married to the former Elizabeth Allen, also a native of Tallahassee, and is the father of four children.
