Joseph DeGross
Joey DeGross graduated from Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, GA. He served in the United States Marine Corps before attending the University of Georgia where he received Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources majoring in Timber and Wildlife Management. In college, Joey was a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity. Upon graduation Joey worked for the Orvis Company as an endorsed Fly Fishing and Wing Shooting Guide. He also worked as a wildlife biologist for Burntpine Plantation in Madison, GA. Before moving back to Thomasville, GA Joey was the Natural Resources Manager for 55,000 acre Golden Ranch in South Louisiana.

As well as working with TALCOR, Joey owns and operates Plantation Forestry and Wildlife Services, LLC, a forestry and wildlife consulting firm based in Thomasville, GA. He is a registered Forester in Georgia and Alabama and holds a real estate license in Georgia and Florida. Joey is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters (Candidate member); the Society of American Foresters. Joey specializes in acreage, timber investment and recreational tracts.
